ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ

I attended Fordham University followed by Brooklyn College, where I obtained my Masters in Education and an Advanced Degree in School Psychology.  

What are you doing currently?

I am a School Psychologist in Hooksett, New Hampshire. I live with my husband, Steve, son, Sully, and our dog, Olana. I also dedicate a lot of my time to running and training for half marathons and marathons. I'm a member of the Millennium Running Team!  

What is your favorite memory of ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ?

I think the best memories I have of ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ are from my time in high school. And funnily enough, my most favorite memories from that time didn't exactly happen in ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ, but it's the memories of traveling with the ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ track team all over the Northeast, and down as far south as the Carolinas. I think I did more traveling with the girls on the track team than I did my own family at that time. These memories are really something that shaped me during those formative years.  

Were there any ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ teachers or staff members you felt made a positive difference in your life?

Mrs. Sara Easley, Mr. Borbet, Mrs. Cardone, Mr. Pasca, Dr. Herbst, and Mr. Nelson. Each one of them gave exactly what I needed at the exact time I needed it to help me to navigate some difficult times, some tough decisions, and to ultimately give me the tools I needed to have in order to be my own best advocate and believer.  

How do you feel your time in ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ helped you prepare for life after ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ?

I went out into the world with an understanding of the world, as much an understanding as a 17-year-old can have. And maybe more importantly, I understood who I was within the world, and that I could become what I wanted to be. I wasn't afraid to take risks, and to believe that I could do really hard and really important things.

Track, Cross Country, Creative Writing  

Is there anything else you would like to share with us about your time in ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ or your life after graduation?

I think I'm very lucky to have had a whole handful of teachers who I continue to think about and talk to even as a 34-year-old. What they gave of their time, energy, knowledge, and support has carried me far beyond high school.
