FIELD HOCKEY OBJECTIVES:
Psychomotor:
Students will demonstrate:
- proper grip
- proper control box stance
- proper dribbling (control, quick tap, reverse stick) technique
- proper passing (push pass, slap hit) technique
- proper drive technique
Cognitive:
The students will be able to:
- implement offensive and defensive strategies into game play
- understand basic rules and terminology
- distinguish the various careers in field hockey
Affective:
The students will be able to:
- communicate with peers in a positive and productive manner
- exhibit leadership
- understand importance of followership
- demonstrate accountability for responsibilities to their peers
