ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Defeats West Islip

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Boys Varsity Tennis improved to 5-3 in league matches with a 5-2 victory over West Islip on Thursday, April 25th. Eric Ramsay and Andrew Keach played a tough match at #1 doubles winning 7-6, 4-6, 6-3 . Captains Steven Masciale and Zach Romanzi took care of business at 1&2 singles.

Bay shore boys tennis lost to Connetquot 3-4, April 23rd. Steven Masciale and Eric Ramsay won at the top two singles spots but with two seniors out with injury and illness it was difficult to compete against a tough Connetquot squad.

Boys varsity tennis beat Lindenhurst 7-0 in a non-league match. The four singles players lost only 4 games combined even with captain Steven Masciale taking a day off. In his first start, Payam Sanatkar was paired with Chris Keach and after getting over first set jitters they settled in with a 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory at third doubles.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Defeats East Islip

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Boys' tennis improved their league record to 3-1 by defeating East Islip 4-3 on Thursday, April 11th. The singles players all won in straight sets. Zach Romanzi had a great performance at #2 against a tough player but won 7-5 7-6. Peter Hoffman was also impressive playing in the 4th spot winning 6-2 6-2.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Defeats West Islip

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ defeated West Islip 6-1 on Tuesday, April 9th improving to 2-1 in league matches. The singles players all rolled in straight sets. Steven Masciale, Eric Ramsay, Peter Hoffman and Brian Lyudmer all played with confidence. The #2 doubles squad of Hunter Cronin and Tim Bryant fought hard in a 3 set match winning 6-1, 2-6, 6-3.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Defeats Connetquot

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ defeated Connetquot 5-2 on Thursday, April 4th. ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ boys' tennis bounced back with a dominant performance against Connectquot. Seniors Steven Masciale and Zach Romanzi led the team, both winning their singles matches in straight sets. All of the doubles squads won their matches. Eric Ramsay and Andrew Keach dominated in the 1st spot while Miles Bromfield with Tim Bryant came from behind to win 1-6, 6-4, 6-4 at second doubles.

Sayville Defeats ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ was defeated by Sayville 5-2 on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. A strong result from first doubles squad Eric Ramsay and Andrew Keach winning in straight sets. Despite the team loss, Bay shore remains confident.
