Mihlstin's Walkoff Gives ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders Victory Over Half Hollow Hills East

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders took Friday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 5-4 walk-off victory over Half Hollow Hills East. The game was tied at four with ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders batting in the bottom of the tenth when Maya Chinquee walked Rachel Mihlstin to drive in a run.

Half Hollow Hills East took an early lead in the first inning. Angela Scurti grounded out, scoring one run.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders knotted the game up at four in the bottom of the fifth inning. Rachel Mihlstin drove in one when she singled in the fifth inning.

Taylor Barbour earned the win for ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders. She threw four and two-thirds innings, giving up zero runs, two hits, striking out four, and walking zero. Maya Chinquee took the loss for Half Hollow Hills East. She tossed nine innings, giving up four runs, 11 hits, and striking out four.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders Grabs Lead In Eighth Inning For Victory Over Longwood

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders defeated Longwood 8-7 on Wednesday, April 12th after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at seven with ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders batting in the top of the eighth when Rachel Mihlstin singled off of Schor, driving in one run.

A four-run lead in the first inning was just enough for ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders to hold off Longwood for the victory.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders defeated Northport 12-3 in a back-and-forth affair on Monday. The game was tied at three with ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders batting in the bottom of the fifth when junior left fielder Payton Calloway singled in freshman third baseman Jazmine Cuffie for what proved to be the go-ahead run. Northport captured the lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for Northport.

Senior pitcher Taylor Barbour earned the save for ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders. She threw three innings, giving up two runs, three hits, and striking out three. Matty Chupick took the loss for Northport. She tossed four innings, allowing two runs, six hits, and walking zero.

Senior pitcher Lauren Collorone got the win for ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders. She pitched four innings, surrendering one run, three hits, striking out five, and walking one.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders collected 16 hits. Calloway, freshman first baseman Daja Farmer, sophomore short stop Chrissy Coan, senior DH Sam Pastore, senior second baseman Nicole Chwalek, and Cuffie each collected multiple hits for ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders. ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Brentwood

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders took the lead for good in the fifth inning to capture a back-and-forth game from Brentwood by a 4-3 score on Wednesday. The game was tied at three with ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders Varsity batting in the bottom of the fifth when junior catcher Shayla Paoletti hit in what proved to be the game winning run in the bottom of the 6th. Brentwood took an early lead in the first inning. Taylor Barbour earned the win for ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders. She went three and two-thirds innings, giving up zero runs, two hits, striking out six, and walking one.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Drops to Sachem North in Extras

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders stayed in it until the end, but Sachem North pulled away late in a 4-3 victory on Monday. Sachem North trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning when two defensive errors cost ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ the game.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders Varsity lost despite out-hitting Sachem North seven to six.

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Lady Marauders Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Lindenhurst

ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders Varsity took the lead late and defeated Lindenhurst 4-3 on Thursday. ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Marauders was down 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Shayla Paoletti singled off of Hailey Spinella, driving in two runs.
